Lynn’s Learning extends a big congratulations to Parth Purohit, a student at our Wantirna South Centre who recently received a certificate for his entry into Knox Society’s writing competition, “What ANZAC Day Means to Me.”
A fantastic achievement – we’ve shared his poem below:
Blood spilled like water,
Even watching was a torcher.
Only few survived,
From the bullets the others died.
The young men would cry, “sir!”
When they would hear a gunshot.
Every day they would risk their lives,
For their friends they would even sacrifice.
Lives they would give and even take for us, for this country.
That is what Anzac Day means to me.
Lest We Forget
Well done, Parth, on a fantastic poem and a wonderful achievement!
