Lynn’s Learning (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy
of the families who entrust their children to our programs. This policy
explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices
you have. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and
the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What information we collect

• Child’s details — first name, year level, subjects of
  interest, and (once enrolled) academic progress, work samples, and assessment
  results
• Enrolment and billing details — payment information for
  direct debit, processed via our secure payment provider; we do not store full
  credit-card details
• Enquiry information — anything you tell us when you
  submit an enquiry form or speak with us by phone

How we collect it

We collect personal information when you:

• Submit an enquiry form on our website or on a social media platform
  (Facebook or Instagram)
• Phone us, email us, or speak with us in person
• Enrol a child in one of our programs
• Visit our website (see Cookies and tracking below)

How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

• Contact you about your enquiry, including arranging a free first
  session
• Design and deliver your child’s personalised learning program
• Mark your child’s work and provide feedback
• Process your weekly fees and manage your account
• Send you occasional updates about your child’s progress or our
  services

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. Ever.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with:

• Our staff and educators, on a need-to-know basis to
  deliver your child’s program
• Our payment processor (for direct debit billing
  only)
• Australian government authorities, only where we are
  legally required to do so

Cookies and tracking on our website and ads

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including the
Meta Pixel, to understand which visitors come from our online
advertisements and to improve the way our ads reach families who may be
interested in our services. The Meta Pixel may share limited information (such
as the pages you viewed) with Meta Platforms, Inc. You can manage your
Facebook ad preferences at facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

You may use your browser settings to block cookies; this will not prevent
you from using our website or contacting us.

How we keep your information secure

We store personal information using a combination of secure cloud services
and physical records held at our centre. We restrict access to staff who need
it. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse,
interference, loss, and unauthorised access.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your child is enrolled with us, and
for a reasonable period after — typically seven years for billing and tax
records — to meet our legal obligations. After that, we destroy or de-identify
the information.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you or your child
• Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information (subject to any legal requirements to
  retain it)
• Unsubscribe from any marketing emails at any time

How to make a complaint

If you believe we have handled your personal information in a way that
breaches the Privacy Act, please let us know first — we’ll do our best to
resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the
Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the
